Instructions submitted for using the auto search mode of the
SC440:
Turn on component.
Place remote on sturdy mount i.e., table and aim at the component.
Press the "xtra" key, then the component key, i.e. TV.
Enter "0001". Green light will flash. This means it is searching in
Auto search mode. Can last up to 2 min. If code is in the remote it
will turn the component off if found.
